How long does it take to maintain the chain of the stage electric hoist?
The maintenance frequency of electric hoist chains depends on various factors such as usage frequency and usage environment. Generally speaking, the following maintenance schedule can be referred to:
1、 Under normal usage conditions
(1) If the frequency of use of the stage electric hoist is low and the usage environment is good, comprehensive chain maintenance can be carried out every 3 months or so.
The maintenance includes cleaning the dust and oil stains on the surface of the chain, checking for wear, cracks, deformation, measuring the elongation of the chain, and lubricating the chain.
(2) For situations with moderate usage frequency, it is recommended to maintain the chain every 1-2 months.
(3) In addition to routine maintenance, more attention should be paid to the meshing of the chain and sprocket to ensure that the chain runs smoothly and steadily during operation.
2、 Under high-frequency use or harsh environments
If the stage electric hoist is used very frequently or in harsh environments such as humidity, high temperature, and corrosive gases, the maintenance frequency of the chain should be greatly increased.
(1) It may require maintenance every two weeks to one month.
(2) Regularly check the wear of the chain and replace severely worn links in a timely manner. In harsh environments, special attention should be paid to the rust prevention treatment of the chain, and the frequency of lubricating oil application should be increased to prevent the chain from rusting.
(3) It should be noted that if any abnormal conditions are found in the chain during use, such as increased noise, poor operation, obvious wear, etc., it should be stopped immediately and inspected and maintained. At the same time, strictly follow the user manual of the electric hoist for operation and maintenance to ensure the safety and service life of the chain.
