After severe wear and tear occurs on the lifting chain, it cannot continue to be used because once the chain wears out, it can cause serious breakage, which poses a safety hazard to our use.
If the lifting chain is severely worn, a new sprocket and chain should be replaced to ensure good engagement. We cannot simply replace the high-strength chain with a new one, otherwise it will cause poor engagement and accelerate the wear of the new chain or sprocket. The old chain cannot be mixed with the new chain, otherwise it is easy to cause impact in the transmission and break the high-strength chain.

When one or several chains or links are found to be broken and cannot be repaired, the broken sections can be replaced (first cut the broken lifting chain according to the method of shortening, and then rivet on the new one according to the method of repairing the loose pin).
