Why does the stage electric hoist make noise during operation

Stage electric hoist is a small lifting equipment commonly used in production workshops of enterprises. It has a wide range of applications and is of great help to the production of enterprises. In the operation of stage electric hoists, there are often some malfunctions, such as making abnormal noises. When abnormal noises occur during the operation of electric hoists, attention should be paid to solving the problem in a timely manner.

Firstly, it is necessary to determine where the noise comes from. If it is in the control circuit, it is usually due to a malfunction of the contactor. The faulty contactor should be repaired, and if it cannot be repaired, it must be replaced.

If there is abnormal noise from the motor, it is necessary to check the motor in a timely manner, and check whether there are any faults in the bearings, coupling shafts, and other parts.

If the noise is coming from the gearbox, check the gearbox and whether the gearbox or bearings have been lubricated before use, and whether the lubricating oil is regularly replaced during use. If the lubrication does not meet the requirements, a sound will be emitted.

Stage electric hoists should be regularly inspected and maintained, especially important parts such as motors and reducers. If there is wear and damage, they should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner. Lubrication is also very important. When adding and replacing lubricating oil, attention should be paid to avoiding contamination and maintaining cleanliness.

What is the reason for the sudden stop of the stage electric hoist when in use

Firstly, consider poor contact of the sliding contact wire. When the stage electric hoist passes through the sliding contact line interface, it often stops suddenly, and in severe cases, the motor may be burned due to phase loss.

Due to factors such as the quality of the sliding wire and the on-site environment, the plastic shell of the sliding contact wire is fragile and severely deformed during transportation and installation, which increases the difficulty of installing the sliding contact wire. The interface between the sliding lines of the imported chain conveyor is prone to misalignment, which often leads to poor contact and phase loss or power outage when the collector passes through the interface, causing the stage electric hoist to suddenly stop.

The second consideration is the collector, which is equipped with a built-in spring to support the sliding carbon brush and make contact with the sliding wire. Due to environmental factors such as heavy rainfall and high air humidity in coastal areas, springs are prone to rusting and failure, resulting in poor contact between carbon brushes and sliding wires. However, there is a chamfer at the contact position of the carbon brush. When the carbon brush passes through an uneven sliding line interface, the stage electric hoist has low inertia, and the carbon brush contacts cannot successfully pass through the interface completely, resulting in poor contact of one phase of the collector.

Consider the use of stage electric hoists later. When using electric hoists to lift equipment in an irregular manner, various types of tilting and pulling may occur. The stage electric hoist may tilt due to force, causing the current collector to deviate from the normal track, resulting in poor contact between the current collector and the sliding wire, leading to phase loss or circuit breakage, causing the stage electric hoist to suddenly stop. In severe cases, the motor may often be burned due to phase loss.

To eliminate the problem of poor collector and sliding contact wire, we first reinforce the sliding wire interface position to ensure that the interface is as smooth as possible; Secondly, replace the corroded springs of the current collector and polish the carbon brush contacts to make them smoother, eliminate the gaps caused by uneven sliding wire interfaces, and ensure that the contacts can effectively contact the sliding wire copper guide rails. Afterwards, it is necessary to strengthen technical disclosure to the users of electric hoists and ensure the correct and standardized use of stage electric hoists.
