Technical methods for replacing and operating safety parts of chain hoists

　　The parts of the chain hoist should be replaced if:

　　1. If there are cracks, broken teeth, or tooth surface wear of 30% of the original tooth thickness on the transmission gear of the chain hoist, the gear should be scrapped.

　　2. The chain undergoes plastic deformation: its elongation reaches 5% of the original factory or it experiences chain jamming, and the wear of the chain ring diameter reaches 10% of the original diameter, it should be scrapped.

　　3. When the brake pads fail to meet the required braking torque and the hooks are damaged and meet the specified scrapping standards, they should be replaced.

　　Safe technical methods for operation and use:

　　1. When using, first loosen the chain, hang the lifting object, slowly pull the chain, and after the lifting chain is under force, check the working condition of the gear meshing and self-locking device. Only after confirming that there are no errors can the lifting operation continue.

　　2. When pulling the chain, the force should be uniform and consistent with the direction of the sprocket. It is not allowed to pull diagonally. Only one person is allowed to pull the chain, and two or more people are strictly prohibited from pulling forcefully. It is strictly prohibited to stand directly below the chain hoist during operation.

　　3. Before lifting, check whether the upper and lower hooks are securely fastened. The hooks should not be skewed or the heavy object should be lifted at the tip of the hook. The lifting chain should be hung vertically, and the heavy object should not be pulled at an angle. The chain links should not be twisted or knotted incorrectly. Double row chains should be especially careful, and the lower structure should not be flipped.

　　4. The hook should be placed on the vertical line of the center of gravity of the heavy object to prevent it from tilting and flipping. When operating the chain hoist, the first attempt should be made to lift it. When the heavy object is off the ground, it can only continue to be lifted if it operates normally and brakes reliably.

　　5. The operator should stand in the same plane as the bracelet wheel and pull the hand chain. The bracelet wheel should rotate counterclockwise, release the ratchet, and the weight can slowly descend.

　　6. Gears should be lubricated regularly, and the technical condition of the pawl, pawl spring, and gear should be checked regularly to prevent brake failure.

　　7. When a heavy object needs to stay in space for a long time, the small chain must be tied to the large chain, and the heavy object must not be lifted and left in the air.

　　8. If a heavy object needs to be hung on a building component with a chain hoist, the load calculation must be carried out by the technical responsible person, and safety must be confirmed before the operation can be carried out.

　　9. After using the chain hoist, it should be disassembled, cleaned, re lubricated, and installed to be sent to the warehouse for storage to prevent chain corrosion.
