Safety Operation Guide for Stage Electric Hoists I. Pre - operation Preparations (I) Personnel Requirements 1. **Qualification Certification**: Operators must undergo professional training and obtain the operation qualification certificate for special equipment. Unauthorized operation by unqualified personnel is strictly prohibited. 2. **Health Conditions**: Operators should maintain good physical and mental conditions. Operation is prohibited when under the influence of alcohol, fatigue, or physical discomfort. (II) Safety Protection 1. **Wear Equipment**: Wear personal protective equipment such as safety helmets, protective gloves, safety shoes, and goggles as required. 2. **Inspect Equipment**: Check whether the protective equipment is intact. Replace it immediately if there is any damage. (III) Equipment Inspection 1. **Mechanical Part**    - **Appearance Inspection**: Check whether the shell and support of the electric hoist have deformation or cracks; whether the hook has wear, deformation, cracks, and whether its opening degree is within the normal range; whether the chain has elongation, deformation, rust, or loose chain pins; whether the wire rope has broken wires, wear, rust, distortion, and whether its fixed end is secure.    - **Rotating Components**: Manually rotate the driving wheel, drum, etc. of the electric hoist to check if they rotate flexibly and if there are any jams or abnormal noises.    - **Braking Device**: Check the wear condition of the brake pads of the braking device, whether the braking clearance meets the requirements, and manually test if the braking is sensitive and reliable. 2. **Electrical Part**    - **Power Supply Inspection**: Use a multimeter to measure whether the power supply voltage is normal and whether the fluctuation range is within the allowable value. Check whether the power cord has damage, aging, or leakage, and whether the connection between the plug and socket is tight.    - **Control Components**: Check whether electrical components such as control buttons, contactors, and relays operate sensitively, whether their contacts have ablation or adhesion, and whether the limit switch works properly and the limit position is accurate.    - **Grounding Protection**: Check whether the grounding device of the electric hoist is reliable and whether the grounding resistance meets the safety standards. (IV) Working Environment Inspection 1. **Stage Conditions**: Check whether the stage structure is stable and whether its load - bearing capacity meets the requirements. Check whether the stage floor is flat, dry, and free of obstacles. 2. **Surrounding Environment**: Observe whether there are flammable or explosive items around the working area. Keep a sufficient safety distance from other equipment and buildings. Ensure that the working area has good lighting conditions. 3. **Weather Conditions**: It is strictly prohibited to use the electric hoist in severe weather conditions (such as heavy rain, strong wind, lightning, etc.) to prevent accidents. II. Operation Process Specifications (I) Pre - lifting Preparations 1. **Determine the Load**: Accurately understand the weight of the object to be lifted. Overloading is strictly prohibited. For objects with unknown weights, weigh or estimate them first to ensure they are within the rated lifting capacity of the electric hoist. 2. **Bind and Fix**: Select appropriate binding tools (such as lifting slings, wire ropes, etc.) to firmly bind the object to be lifted, balance its center of gravity, and prevent slipping or shaking during the lifting process. 3. **Set Warnings**: Set up obvious warning signs in the working area. Unauthorized personnel are prohibited from entering. Arrange a dedicated person to be in charge of on - site command to ensure accurate and clear signal transmission. (II) Lifting Operation 1. **Start Slowly**: Press the lifting button to slowly start the electric hoist, and make the object to be lifted slowly leave the ground by 10 - 20 cm. Pause the lifting and check whether the electric hoist, binding device, and the object to be lifted are normal. 2. **Confirm Normality**: Observe whether the object to be lifted is stable, without tilting or shaking. Check whether the braking device of the electric hoist is reliable, and whether there are any abnormal noises, heat, etc. in each component. Only after confirming that everything is normal can the lifting be continued. 3. **Lift at a Uniform Speed**: Keep a uniform speed during the lifting process. Avoid sudden acceleration or deceleration. Diagonal pulling and slanting lifting are strictly prohibited. Control the lifting height to avoid colliding with the top of the stage or other obstacles. (III) Operation during Movement 1. **Concentrate**: The operator should concentrate and closely monitor the running state of the object to be lifted and the surrounding environment, and be ready to respond to emergencies at any time. 2. **Run Smoothly**: Keep the electric hoist running smoothly during operation. Avoid sudden stops and starts. Slow down in advance when passing through track bends or approaching the end of the track. 3. **Avoid Collisions**: It is strictly prohibited for the object to be lifted to collide with stage facilities, other equipment, or people. Pay attention to observing the surrounding environment and adjust the running direction and speed of the electric hoist in a timely manner.

(IV) Lowering Operation

1. **Lower Slowly**: After reaching the designated position, press the lowering button to slowly lower the height of the object to be lifted. Slow down again when approaching the ground. 2. **Accurately Position**: Place the object to be lifted accurately at the predetermined position. Only after confirming that it is placed stably can the binding device be loosened. (V) Handling of Abnormal Situations 1. **Stop Immediately**: During the operation, if there are abnormal odors, noises, vibrations, smoking, or leakage in the electric hoist, or if the safety device is activated, immediately press the emergency stop button and cut off the power supply. 2. **Evacuate Safely**: The operator should quickly evacuate to a safe area to avoid danger. 3. **Troubleshoot**: Notify professional maintenance personnel to inspect and repair the electric hoist. Find out the cause of the failure and resume use only after the failure is eliminated. Unauthorized repair is strictly prohibited. ## III. Post - operation Work (I) Equipment Reset 1. **Parking Location**: Park the electric hoist in the designated position, and raise the hook to a height of more than 2 meters from the ground to prevent people from colliding with it. 2. **Turn off the Power**: Cut off the power supply of the electric hoist and lock the control box to prevent unauthorized operation. (II) Equipment Cleaning and Maintenance 1. **Clean the Equipment**: Clean the dust, oil stains, and debris on the surface of the electric hoist to keep the equipment clean.

2. **Inspect and Record**: Inspect the electric hoist and record the problems and malfunctions found during use to provide a basis for subsequent maintenance.

3. **Maintenance**: Regularly maintain the electric hoist, including lubrication, adjustment, replacement of vulnerable parts, etc., to ensure that the equipment is in good operating condition. (III) Site Cleaning

Clean up the debris and tools at the work site to keep the stage and its surrounding environment clean. Organize and properly store binding tools, warning signs, and other items.
