Precautions for lubrication and maintenance of stage chain hoists

　　1、 Check the lubrication effect

　　After lubrication and maintenance, the lubrication effect should be checked first. Observe whether key parts such as chains and gears are evenly covered with lubricating oil, and whether the lubricating oil plays a role in reducing friction and wear. If insufficient or excessive lubrication is found in certain parts, adjustments should be made in a timely manner.

　　(1) Insufficient lubrication situation

　　Performance: Dry chain, unsmooth gear rotation, abnormal noise, etc.

　　Solution: Add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil to ensure that key parts are fully lubricated. Special lubricant spray can be used to evenly spray lubricating oil on the parts to be lubricated.

　　(2) Excessive lubrication situation

　　Performance: Lubricating oil overflow, excessively greasy chain surface, easy adsorption of dust, etc.

　　Solution: Wipe off excess lubricating oil with a clean cloth to keep the surface of the equipment clean. At the same time, it is important to avoid using too much lubricating oil during the lubrication process to prevent waste and adverse effects.

　　2、 Clean residual lubricating oil

　　During the lubrication and maintenance process, some lubricating oil may remain on the surface of the equipment or in the surrounding environment. These residual lubricating oils not only affect the appearance of the equipment, but may also adsorb dust and impurities, affecting the performance of the equipment. Therefore, after completing lubrication and maintenance, residual lubricating oil should be cleaned in a timely manner.

　　(1) Clean the surface of the equipment

　　Use a clean cloth or tissue to wipe the lubricating oil on the surface of the equipment, being careful not to apply too much force to avoid damaging the coating on the equipment surface.

　　For areas that are difficult to wipe, specialized cleaning agents can be used for cleaning, but it is important to choose a cleaning agent suitable for the material of the stage hoist to avoid damage to the equipment.

　　(2) Clean the surrounding environment

　　Clean up the lubricating oil that drips onto the ground or other parts to avoid slipping and polluting the environment. Tools such as oil absorbing felt or mop can be used for cleaning.

　　3、 Trial operation equipment

　　After completing lubrication, maintenance, and cleaning work, it is necessary to conduct a trial run of the stage chain hoist. Through trial operation, the operating status of the equipment after lubrication and maintenance can be checked to ensure its normal operation.

　　(1) No load trial operation

　　Firstly, conduct a no-load trial run, that is, without hanging heavy objects, pull the hand zipper and observe the operation of the equipment. Check whether the chain is smooth, whether the gears are rotating normally, and whether the brake is sensitive.

　　If any abnormal situation is found, the operation should be stopped immediately, the cause should be checked and dealt with. Possible reasons include improper lubrication, loose components, installation errors, etc.

　　(2) Load trial operation

　　After the no-load trial run is normal, the load trial run can be carried out. Gradually increase the load weight and observe the operation of the equipment under different loads. Check the lifting capability, stability, and safety of the equipment.

　　If any problems occur during the load test run, the operation should be stopped immediately, heavy objects should be unloaded, and inspection and maintenance should be carried out. Do not forcefully use faulty equipment to avoid safety accidents.

　　4、 Regular inspection and maintenance

　　Lubrication and maintenance are only part of the maintenance of stage chain hoists. In order to ensure the long-term stable operation of the equipment, regular inspections and maintenance are also necessary.

　　(1) Daily inspection

　　Before each use, a simple inspection of the stage chain hoist should be carried out, including whether the chain is damaged, whether the gears are worn, and whether the brake is normal. If any problems are found, they should be dealt with promptly and the equipment should not be used with illness.

　　(2) Regular maintenance

　　Regularly perform comprehensive maintenance on the stage chain hoist according to the equipment's user manual and maintenance manual. Maintenance includes cleaning, lubrication, checking for component wear, adjusting brakes, etc. Regular maintenance can promptly identify potential issues with equipment and extend its lifespan.
