The controller of the truss electric hoist realizes the raising and lowering of the truss in the following ways:

- Electric Drive: The controller is connected to the power supply. When the operator issues a raising or lowering command through the controller, the power supply supplies electricity to the driving motor of the electric hoist. The driving motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, driving the transmission device of the electric hoist to operate.


- Transmission Device: Commonly used transmission components such as gears, chains or steel wire ropes are usually adopted. The motor drives the gears to rotate, which in turn drives the chains or steel wire ropes to move. The chains or steel wire ropes are connected to the truss, and the raising and lowering of the truss are achieved by retracting and releasing the chains or steel wire ropes.


- Control System: There are control circuits and related programs inside the controller of the truss electric hoist, which are used to precisely control the running direction and speed of the motor. When the raising button is pressed, the control circuit makes the motor rotate forward, driving the chains or steel wire ropes to retract, and the truss rises; when the lowering button is pressed, the motor rotates in reverse, the chains or steel wire ropes are released, and the truss descends. At the same time, the control system may also have a speed adjustment function, which can adjust the rising or falling speed of the truss according to actual needs.


- Safety Protection Mechanism: To ensure the safety of operation, the controller is usually equipped with a variety of safety protection devices. For example, the limit switch. When the truss rises or falls to the set limit position, the limit switch is triggered, and the power supply of the motor is automatically cut off to prevent the truss from exceeding the safe range; the overload protection device. When the load borne by the controller of the truss electric hoist exceeds the set value, the overload protection device is activated, and the motor stops running to avoid safety accidents caused by overload.
