How to determine whether the chain electric hoist is qualified

1. The body and hook shell of the electric chain hoist should be able to support a static tensile load of four times the rated lifting capacity. That is to say, if the electric chain hoist you purchased has a rated load of one ton, its body and hook shell must be able to withstand a static tensile load of four tons. Otherwise, it is considered a non-conforming product.

2. When conducting static load tests on chain electric hoists, when a test load of 1.25 times the rated lifting capacity is applied, all load-bearing components should have no cracks, permanent deformation, or paint peeling after the test, and all connections should have no looseness or oil leakage, which is considered a qualified product. Otherwise, the product is not qualified.

3. Under the test load conditions of rated voltage, rated frequency, and 1.1 times the rated lifting capacity of the electric chain hoist, the lifting mechanism should operate normally and brake reliably during the dynamic load test. If there are no abnormal situations, it is considered qualified.

4. Under the rated voltage, rated frequency, and rated lifting capacity, the braking sliding amount of the lifting mechanism should not exceed one millimeter. The value of dividing the distance of the load lifted at the rated lifting speed by 100 should not exceed two hundred millimeters.

5. The deviation between the lifting speed and operating speed of the electric chain hoist under rated voltage, rated frequency, and rated lifting capacity should not exceed ± 10% of the specified value. Slow speed is not within the scope of assessment.

6. The lifting speed of the chain electric hoist lifting mechanism should not be less than the specified speed. For example, if the standard lifting speed of a normal specification is three meters, then in practical use, the lifting height of a chain electric hoist should not be less than three meters, which is considered qualified.

7. The distance between the two hooks should not exceed the specified value.

8. For chain electric hoists with a rated lifting capacity of less than 0.5 tons, the lifting mechanism should be equipped with a safety clutch; For electric chain hoists with a rated lifting capacity of less than or equal to 0.5 tons, the lifting mechanism should be equipped with a safety clutch. The load limit of a chain hoist equipped with a safety clutch should be within the range of 1.3 to 1.6 times the rated lifting capacity. Otherwise, the product will be considered unqualified.

9. The electric chain hoist should have a travel limit function, which can be achieved through mechanical or electrical methods. Travel limit refers to the ability to automatically stop the movement of the lower hook in the original direction when it rises or falls to the set position, but it cannot affect the movement of the lower hook in the opposite direction.

10. The operation mechanism of the chain electric hoist should be stable, smooth, and free from abnormal noise.

11. The engagement between the lifting chain of the electric chain hoist and the lifting sprocket and the cruise wheel should be smooth and free from abnormal noise. The lifting chain should not be stuck, climbing or other abnormal situations.

12. The entire chain electric hoist should be able to operate normally under the conditions of rated lifting capacity, rated frequency, and rated voltage of 90% at the motor end.
